REPOST FROM @elijah_ws187:
“Did you know that the first people that were encountered by Europeans on the North America Continent were Black ‘Native Americans’ that were referred to as Negroes? This is a fact which is documented and can be verified. Many many people will not believe this however there are many things about the indigenous people of the United States that has either been hidden from everyone, mostly in foreign documents or very old archived documents, or have just been omitted from historical records and history books. History is A lie but the Truth has come back to Beat it down! They want THE SO CALLED “AFRICAN AMERICANS” To believe all of THEIR Ancestors came over here in Slave ships from Africa! This is Your Home land Or as some would Say “MOTHER CONTINENT”! ONCE WE REALIZE THIS THE PROBLEMS WILL GO AWAY! To be continued….. #blackhistory #blackisbeautiful #naturalhair #kemet #aboriginal #Afroamerican #africanAmerican #knowthyself #blackpower #300hunnit #gdk #bdk”

Denmark Vessey & Scud One - Cult Classic
There’s a difference between being fashionably late and just really late to the party. We’re guilty of the latter when it comes to Denmark Vessey’s debut album, Cult Classic. But isn’t that part of what makes a cult classic so good? There’s a small collective that’s hip to it at first and then the rest of us finally catch on, like, “Damn, this shit is mad dope.”
The project’s been heralded by Potholes In My Blog as one of the Top 50 hip hop releases of 2013, and after the 1st listen we agree. Chi-town producer Scud One sets a soulful soundscape for Vessey’s rhymes, which deliver Detroit rawness to fullest.
Bump this, buy this and join the cult.
